Maquetas pedagógicas de plantas

El museo tiene alrededor de 250 maquetas ampliadas de plantas y animales. Éstas se usaron a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX para enseñar a estudiantes. Muchas de estas maquetas se pueden desmontar para mostrar la estructura interna de las plantas o animales. Están hechas de papel maché, madera, alambre y tela.
Estas maquetas aún se usan a día de hoy para enseñar a estudiantes, aunque muchas de ellas tienen más de 100 años de antigüedad.
