Mudejarowie byli muzułmanami, którym pozwolono pozostać w Hiszpanii po przejęciu półwyspu Iberyjskiego przez chrześcijańskiego króla. Kultura Mudejarów stała się inspiracją dla muzułmańskiego stylu w sztuce i architekturze, którego charakterystyczną cechą były misterne, powtarzające się wzory. Można je do dziś odnaleźć na wielu historycznych obiektach w całej Hiszpanii.

Ta misa pochodzi z XV lub XVI wieku. Została znaleziona w Manises w Walencji. Pokryta jest glazurą, nadającą połysku wzorom na powierzchni naczynia.
