Aunque es difícil probar que algún objeto fue usado como juguete para niños en el sentido moderno, es tentador ver este modelo de caballo con ruedas de madera como tal. Uno de muchos que se conocen, este caballo quizá fue hecho con referencia al caballo de Troya, descrito por Virgilio en la historia de la Eneida, del primer siglo a. C.

Otros posibles juguetes del antiguo Egipto incluyen juegos de tablero como el senet, sonajas de arcilla, muñecas con cabello bordado con cuentas, ¡incluso objetos como un hipopótamo cuya mandíbula se abría y cerraba con la ayuda de cuerdas!

    I do enjoy the way you have framed this specific issue plus it does indeed present us a lot of fodder for thought. However, because of what precisely I have personally seen, I simply wish when other commentary pile on that people today remain on point and don’t embark on a soap box of the news of the day. Anyway, thank you for this excellent point and even though I can not go along with this in totality, I regard the perspective.

    I saw a very similar toy on an episode of “Games of Thrones”. It was practically the same. Could it be possible that this toy, or a very similar one in another museum somewhere else in the world, inspired the prop makers who worked on this production? Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
