Ceinture Kuba

Avec des perles blanches et bleues brillantes et des cauris, cette ceinture a été fabriquée par les gens Kuba de la République Démocratique du Congo, il y a plus de 100 ans. Il a été réalisé à côté de la rivière Sankuru.

Les cauris fut utilisés comme monnaie dans cette région, et afficha sur une ceinture montrit la richesse et le pouvoir de celui qui les porta – aujourd’hui, ils sont encore portés pour d’événements cérémoniels.
