很多人非常喜欢Maude。她是一只虎狮，是一只雄性老虎和一只雌性狮子的孩子，具有她父母的特点。

去博物馆之前， Maude是曼彻斯特的Belle Vue动物园的骄傲，她跟她的兄弟Kliou在二十世纪三十到四十年代之间生活在那里。

1932年，两只虎狮是在Dresden动物园出生的，然后搬到了曼彻斯特。
