L’algue de Bennett

Cette algue a été découverte en 1855, et il a été récoltée pour la dernier fois en 1866 à Port Jackson, proche de Sydney, Australie. Depuis lors, il n’y a eu aucun signe de cette algue, et maintenant c’est probablement disparu. Les activités humains a été derangé la sable, et les algues minces sont tout vulnérable aux la bloquage de la lumière du sol, donc c’est la première raison pour sa destruction.
